Intraoral Snoring Appliances
Do you or your partner snore in the their sleep? Is it disturbing others? Does it cause you to wake up tired and sleep deprived?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you may be a candidate for an Intraoral Snoring Appliance.
The reason a lot of people will snore is due to an obstructed airway. This causes a vibration in the back of the throat, resulting in snoring. An Intraoral Snoring Appliance is worn at night and helps to re position the lower jaw in order to open the airway.
At K.L.O. Dental we recommend having a consultation with your physician or a sleep therapist. They will help determine if an oral appliance would be a benefit and to ensure you do not suffer from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), which may be a contraindication.
