Root Canal Therapy

 

A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. Without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses may form.

 

The inflammation or infection can be caused by a variety of factors: deep decay, repeated dental procedures on the tooth, a crack or a chip in the tooth, or trauma to a tooth.

 

At K.L.O. Dental we use the latest technology. A root canal will be done by using our new rotary Nickel Titanium instruments and a computer that accurately measures the length of the canal. With the use of the new technology this will not only shorten your appointment but will hopefully make it a more pleasurable experience.
